If there is one thing I know about winning, it’s that it takes a tremendous amount of good old-fashioned HARD WORK.
I think the most challenging thing about hard work is that it’s hard (lol), and when things get hard, we tend to get hit with a horrible case of the “I quits,” the “I cant’s,” the “I’ll nevers,” and—last but not least—the “I give ups.” I would be lying to you if I said that, as a world-class athlete, I had never come down with a slight case of the “I give ups.” In my career, I’ve had to face some really tough challenges, and there were times when it seemed like no matter how hard I tried or how hard I kept working, I couldn’t get to where I was trying to be.
But just like a common cold, I didn’t let these negative viruses hang around in my system for too long. I immediately took some quick pick-me-up supplements!
